May 1, 2019 – UPDATE: The small additional room block has sold out. You’re welcome to contact them but there is a wait list. Not to worry however there are a lot of really nice local hotels around Kerkrade in the roughly the same price range – some historic, some modern and the Kasteel hotel part of a castle complex. See the Accommodations page for more information.

HAVE A GREAT CONFERENCE!
This will be my first International Association for the Study of Dreams conference. I will appreciate a travel and/or room share connection. I recently joined this organization and look forward to learning with a mentor or fellow new member.
Linda,
I just learned today that a previously arranged roommate found lodging through a couchshare site.
We had not booked a room.
I am pursuing all options for a roommate on or off the Rolduc site.
If you have not found a roommate and are interested in sharing let me know.
I will be attending the whole conference.
Fred
Hello Fred, You may recall the London ASD conference and meeting someone from Montreal named Diana….. I was travelling with my friends Laurette and Tore, also from Montreal. You joined us for a road trip through the southwest of England…
I am making plans to be at the conference and am looking for someone to share a place. Have you found anything yet….. or anyone?
It would be nice to hear from you in any case.
Diana
Hi Diana,
I would be glad to share and reconnect. A previous arrangement fell through. I then booked at a hotel. Then I discovered Couchsurfing.com and located a host in Herleen. That seems to have fallen apart as well.
I may be back to square one.
My outgoing email is not working at the moment. You can reply via my email, but my replies will be best sent via this
thread.

Hi Fred,
Do you have any room? I thought for sure I’d reserved with the conference, but something happened… I’m facilitating a dream group at 8:00 AM every morning and do hope I can somehow stay in the conference center. I’ll be there for the whole conference
Hi David,
I do not have lodging on-site. So far I’ve cycled through three options and am back to square I.

Hi Sema
Are you still seeking a room mate? I am considering coming to the conference now. I live in Santa Barbara, CA. and need a room to share, ideally at the conference hotel or within walking distance.
amykatz@yahoo.com or call: 805-428-9252
Hi Linda. I am also looking for someone to share a room with. Buy unfornutately I don´t have a booking at the Rolduc. Did you already book a room?
I am a psychotherapist and photographer from Denmark (female)
I am returning to IASD after a long hiatus. I attended some of the first ASD conferences going back to 1985 in San Francisco. I am waiting for approval of my workshop and morning group proposals although I plan to attend in any case to reconnect with the Dream community.
I am open to sharing a room with one or more attendees.
I will be flying from the Philippines where I presently reside.
RCW test
I will be arriving at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 20.
I’m wondering if anyone else might be leaving Amsterdam for Kerkrade around that time, who could offer me some help.
I have recently been having some problems with my right foot and (especially after having traveled more than 12 hours) could use some assistance with the last part of the trip.
My preference would be automobile travel between Amsterdam and Kerkrade on Thursday rather than train, but even with the train I will need assistance. I have a reservation for Thursday night at Rolduc. But I am willing to discuss any reasonable plan. Due to this necessity, I am willing to pay for assistance.
All help welcome and thanks!
I am looking for a roommate to stay in the monestary since they are sold out now. Maybe someone has a double and wants to split the cost? Would like to arrive Thursday and stay for the whole convention. Cheers, Pat Precin (female but could room with male or female).
Hi Pat,
I thought I had a roommate who notified me that he found lodging through a couch share site. I do not have a reservation at Rolduc.
If you are still looking for a roommate and interested, contact me ASAP. Thanks.
I am presenting a workshop on Monday morning. I will fly to Düsseldorf from Cebu although I have not yet booked my
flight. I will shoot for a Friday arrival and plan to stay through the whole conference.
I am also in correspondence with the Jung Institute in Zurich and possibly looking for post conference travel plan.
Fred
Thanks, Fred! I am really wanting to stay in the monastery. If something becomes available there and there is extra space, I will let you know! Welcome back!!!
I posted in January. I had one respondent who today notified me that he found lodging through a couchshare site. We didn’t make reservations unfortunately.
I am again looking for a roommate either at the Rolduc or now apparently in the vicinity. Contact me if interested
Male or female.
Hoping to share a room with another fellow. I’ll be there for the entire conference, but leaving on the 25th.
Hi Steve,
Do you still have any room? I thought for sure I’d reserved my own room with the conference, but something happened… I’m facilitating a dream group at 8:00 AM every morning and do hope I don’t have to taxi back and forth from a hotel somewhere!! thanks,
David L

Hi Sema!
I am an Indian (female) and I am currently studying in the UK doing research focusing on dreams. I will most likely be flying to Amsterdam and catching a train to Kerkrade sometime on the 20th.
I will be applying for the whole conference too and will be leaving on either 25th night or the 26th.
Is there anywhere else we can communicate further? I wasn’t aware that you had sent me a message on here until I checked now.

David L
Hi all,
We still have an empty bed in our 4-bed room.
Geoff
Rolduc has opened up more rooms, but if anyone still needs a bed, we have two beds available still. Let me know. thanks.
I am definitely needing a bed for sure if you still have one available! Feel free to email me at msjaclynteaches@gmail.com
If you mean a there is still a bed available in one of four bedrooms, them I am definitely interested.
I am coming from Montreal and planning to arrive June 19th or 20th…… staying for the duration.
Female travelling on her own.
CORRECTION TYPO!!
I meant to write “If you mean that there is still……”
Hi Diana,
I mean we have one room with four beds. I and my grandson will take two of them. The other two are available at this time, but I’m pretty sure we only have a bathroom down the hall and our room will be one open room, so we will be living dorm style. No problem is that is not comfortable for you. Let me know. Thanks.
Grace & peace
Geoff Nelson
Of the four beds in our room, only one is left available, as of 1300 PST on May 24, 2019
Hi Geoff,
I would like that bed, if possible… get back to me, thanks,
best,
David L

ARE YOU FLYING INTO DUSSELDORF?
HELP!!! I booked the conference eons ago and the flights etc . .. and am now just checking how to get from Dusseldorf airport to Rolduc. I land at 10.25am on Thurs June 20th. Buses are not an option, with 4 changes and a night bus that doesn’t leave Dusseldorf until 10.20pm (my reservation at Rolduc begins on the 20th), The only option is train (3 changes) or car hire. Anyone else with the same problems willing to travel together? BTW I’m UK based, an author and lapsed dreamworker – not been to IASD conference since 2013 and am soooo looking fwd to it 🙂
Jo,
I was flying to Düsseldorf with a stop in Frankfurt. It turns out to be shorter to switch to a direct train from Frankfurt to Kerkrade Centrum.
Hoi,
Is there anybody who has booked for a room and want to share with a room mate?
I am Martje Horst, from Holland, and i am looking for a bed during the iasd conference.
I hope there will be a bed somewhere.
Hello,
If you are looking for sharing a room, you can also try ‘De Stegelshof’ in Eygelshoven (Kerkrade).
They rent appartments for 2 persons or for small groups.
The Stegelshof is 5km away from Rolduc (8 minutes drive).
