All fees listed immediately below include: all presentations, recordings from lecture-based sessions, and all our special events such as the Opening and Arts Receptions, the Dream Art Exhibit, the PSI Dreaming contest, and the Costume Parade and Dream Ball. Excluded: transportation, lodging, meals, and other items listed below, such as tickets to the OSF play, which are reserved separately from the conference fees.

Special Rates for Pre-Approved Registrants:

If you have been approved by email for a complimentary or other special fee arrangement that is not specifically listed here (i.e. Management Staff, Keynote, Featured Presenter, Press, Other) select the Special Rates for Pre-Approved Registrants below and note your category in the Comments box.

2) REGISTRATION DEADLINES!

• Volunteer Registration – 24 Feb 2026 or as requested in your Acceptance Letter
• Presenter Registration Deadline to Remain on the Program – 1 March 2026
• Exhibiting Artists Submission and Registration – 15 April 2026 (for paying the submission fee or registering to attend the conference at the presenter discount rate).
• Early Bird Discount – until 1 May 2026
• Last day for Lodging Reservations – 22 May 2026
• Last day for online Registration – 10 June 2026 (you can still register for the conference after that date when you arrive on-site)

3) JOIN IASD TO REGISTER AT MEMBER RATES!

Conference discount for members is $80 lower for general registrants than non-member fees. By joining now, the conference discount pays for most of your membership fees. For example: an individual general membership of $100 can save you up to $80 on the conference, depending on registration category. If you qualify for a student/limited-income fee, then a membership of $65 can save you an additional $40 on the conference. To Join or Renew your membership CLICK HERE, then return to this form when finished.

4) ARE YOU REGISTERING A COMPANION AS WELL?

If you have a companion who is attending the conference with you, they will need their own separate registration form. Many lodging rooms have two beds, and the $139 rate is the same for a double as a single.

5) MAKE YOUR LODGING RESERVATION DIRECTLY WITH THE ASHLAND HILLS HOTEL & SUITES

The Ashland Hills Hotel & Suites (AHH)—our conference site—is the best and most convenient lodging option, just steps from all conference events. We have a limited block of 150 rooms reserved at the special rate of $139 per night (about a 40% discount). We encourage you to book early for the best availability and room selection. The discounted rate is available for up to two days before and after the conference.

Please visit the Lodging page for details and booking instructions. You will need to book directly with the hotel with the phone number or link provided —do not use the main AHH website or third-party booking sites (you will get a “not available” error message).

1) Approved presenters must register before 1 March 2026, or the date specified in your acceptance letter, to remain on the program. Fees are non-refundable after that payment date. Refunds for registration before that date will have a $75 processing fee (waived if your proposal was not accepted). Note: Exhibiting Artists wishing to attend the conference sessions are offered this same discount until the 15 April art submission deadline on the Exhibiting Artists registration form.

2) Student/Limited Income Rates

* Limited Income applies under $30,000 US annually.
* For Student rates to apply, registration submission must include a copy of full-time student ID.

3) Restricted Partial Scholarships are limited to:

  1. Primarily full-time students at accredited colleges or universities where you are accompanying a presenting instructor or where an instructor/advisor requests it as part of your education. These require approval prior to registering. For approval, a copy of your full-time student ID plus a written (e-mail) request from your instructor/advisor, must be sent to the IASD office. Scan ID and e-mail it plus other requested support information to the IASD office at office@asdreams.org,
    1. For individuals who identify as BIPOC, a few partial scholarships may be available. To apply, go to the IASD Dreams & Ethnicity Portal.

4) Volunteers:

This heavily discounted fee is for pre-approved volunteers who work on site roughly 3.5 hours per day on average. All volunteers who have received approval MUST register and pay this fee by the deadline requested in their approval letter. Because this registration fee is non-refundable (barring extreme circumstances), please be certain of your ability to attend before you apply. Do NOT register in the volunteer category unless you have received an approval letter. Those on the waiting list who pay the Early Bird or Regular registration fee will be reimbursed the difference if they are later accepted as a volunteer. Volunteers who wish to lodge at the conference site should reserve lodging as early as possible with the Ashland Hills Hotel & Suites. (Note that lodging must be paid by the volunteer.)

5) Single Day Fee (members or non-members):

Registration for one day of the conference includes all general receptions for that day. Lodging and meals are excluded. No discounts apply to single day registrations. Note that the fee for Sunday includes the Saturday evening opening sessions as well.

RECORDINGS

The ability to view all sessions that are recorded (which include most lectures, symposiums and panels) will be made available to those who registered for the full conference, as well as keynotes/invited, on-site volunteers and staff. Single Day, Scholarship or certain Special Approved $0 fee registrants, can receive the recordings for an additional $50. Recordings will also be made available to non-registrants or press after the conference for a fee of $200. Recordings will be available for viewing for up to 2 years after the conference.

MEALS

Meals are on your own. The Luna Café is a limited-capacity eatery located off the lobby, offering breakfast and lunch 7 am to 2 pm; happy hour 4 pm to 6 pm; and dinner 4 pm to 9 pm.  At 9 am each morning, and once again late morning, coffee and tea service is provided by IASD in the conference foyer.  Beverages are provided when there is an afternoon break.

ARTIST EXHIBITORS

The 2026 IASD conference will include a Juried Dream Art Exhibition that invites local artists, as well as artists who attend the conference from around the world. Artists are encouraged to submit original artwork about, or inspired by, their nighttime dreams.  The Call to Artists planned to be posted 1 November which will have a 15 April  2026 deadline for submissions.

Fees: All submissions will require registration and payment, on the Exhibiting Artists form below, at the time of art submission – either a) a non-refundable submission fee of $40 per artist (including Artists who have been approved as a volunteer special fee arrangement) or b) a discounted conference fee (equivalent to Presenter fee) for Exhibiting Artists who wish to register to attend the conference sessions and events.

SPECIAL EVENTS

COMMENTS AND SPECIAL REQUESTS

The registration form includes a comment box for you to note any special needs. Although IASD will do its best to meet such requests, it is not always practical or possible to do so; thus, IASD cannot guarantee that a specific request can be met. We will attempt to notify you of the status of your requests. Note that we make efforts to provide special seating accommodation for those who have limited sight or hearing or need room for wheelchair access, so let us know if you have those needs in order that we can plan properly. If you have a specific question regarding facility access you may contact the Ashland Hills Hotel & Suites (see Lodging page).
