Loews Ventana Canyon Resort

The Venue is the spectacular Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, in Tucson, Arizona, USA. ‘Ventana,’ means ‘Window’ – in this case, a Window to the Soul of the Sonoran Desert. Discover a magical perspective of Tucson in the Catalina Mountains.  This stunning natural retreat offers a variety of activities, signature services, and experiences to relax, energize and inspire guests. A playground of visitor delights includes the luxurious Lakeside Spa, Fitness and Tennis Center; canyon nature trail hiking featuring streams and waterfalls; two Tom Fazio-designed PGA golf courses and lighted tennis courts; two swimming pools; five restaurants; and more.

The conference hotel – the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort – is the best choice for ease in getting to the conference events on time. There are no other hotels or restaurants within walking distance, so transportation would be needed if you plan to stay off site. For your convenience, IASD has committed to a limited block of 152 discounted rooms for a special group rate of $115 per night (along with some special upgrade pricing), so please register early so we can provide a discounted space for you. We strongly recommend that you stay there, both for your convenience as well as helping IASD to meet our commitment and avoid our becoming responsible for unsold or cancelled rooms. Note lodging registration for our discounted block ends 30 June so don’t wait till the last minute. We also have secured these discounted rates (on a space available basis) for the 3 days before and after the conference for those who want to travel around the area (see Attractions page) or enjoy the resort.
