Call for Volunteers
Come help us make our 2027 IASD Annual Conference a success!
The IASD is a volunteer-run organization, and the annual conference relies on volunteers to make it possible. Conference Volunteers work approximately 12 to 14 hours (roughly 3 to 4 hours per day) for a deeply discounted $200 conference fee. The fee covers the full conference including all receptions and the dream ball as well as the recordings. Volunteers arrange for their own travel, lodging and meals and any separately priced items such as CEs or special events they wish to purchase.
Six Volunteer Categories
1) Registration positions: Setup or Registration Desk
2) Room Monitors
3) Audio-Visual support and AV Reserve
4) AV Zoom Host
5) Art Exhibition
6) Wellness Support.
To find out more about each position and to apply, click the link below. All volunteers will receive on-site training on Friday morning May 28. AV and Wellness Support Volunteers will receive additional remote pre-conference training over Zoom.
Apply early for the best opportunity to receive your desired positions. As positions fill, a waiting list will be maintained and those on that list will be offered a position if an accepted volunteer does not register or cancels.
Acceptance letters will begin going out November 1, 2026, and then within 2 weeks of receiving applications after that. That letter will have a deadline in it by which you must register and pay the volunteer fee to confirm your position. Be sure you can attend because the fee is non-refundable after that deadline, except in extreme circumstances (a $50 administrative fee will still apply).
