About the Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta
The Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta is our conference site, where we have a limited block of 150 rooms reserved at a discounted rate of $109 per night, in order to ensure availability for as many of you as we can at this newly renovated luxury hotel. The hotel is located in the north Atlanta area in the heart of Gwinnett County in Duluth. It is served by one of the largest international airport hubs in the nation and is the largest in the county featuring a wide range of guest rooms. indoor & outdoor swimming pools, a health club, a sundeck, free parking, and more.
How to Book

- At the top of the form, the calendar only shows our main block dates. Don't let that confuse you.
- Click the check-in icon. A calendar will open showing every date available at our block rate for May and June.
- Staying only the block dates? Click your dates in the black boxes.
- Adding days before or after? Click your arrival date in a box with a dot (just before the black boxes). Then click your check-out date, either in a black box or in a following box with a dot.
- Click SELECT to see your room choices. Rooms are available while they last.

Dining
Conference Breaks and Receptions: All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are on your own either within the Hotel restaurant or outside the hotel. IASD will be providing coffee and tea each morning at 9am and in the break between the next two morning sessions. We will also provide beverages in the breaks between the afternoon sessions. Evening receptions and the Dream Ball will include a pay bar plus finger snacks and chips. Chips, wine and beer is also available in the Hospitality Suite (check the hours on the schedule).
Hotel Dining: You can start your day with a hot breakfast in the Grapevine, located off the lobby with both indoor and outdoor seating available. As part of the renovation, a new restaurant is opening for dinners and drinks (check the Sonesta Gwinnett Place website as renovation progresses for menu and hours).
Local Dining around the Hotel: We have allotted about 2 hours on the schedule for meals which should allow enough time to enjoy the many nearby restaurants, many within walking distance. There are also markets for purchasing meals and snacks nearby. A map showing some of them is included below.

Policies
- Non-Smoking: All guest and meeting rooms are non-smoking unless allowed by law and designated as a smoking room or area by Hotel.
- Outside Food and Beverage: with the exception of in Guest Rooms and the designated Hospitality Suite, no food or beverage of any kind will be permitted to be brought onto the Hotel property by the Group or any of the Group’s employees, agents, contractors or guests.
- Alcohol Consumption: The Hotel does not serve alcoholic beverages to minors as required by law. The Hotel may refuse service of alcohol to any guest or attendee and, at its discretion, may discontinue service of alcohol to all guests and attendees in the event of violation of any applicable law.
- Animals: Service animals are permitted on the Hotel property in accordance with applicable law. Any other animals may be permitted on the Hotel property only with prior written approval of the Hotel in its sole discretion.
