Join IASD to Register at Member Rates

Conference discount for members is $80 lower for general registrants than non-member fees. By joining now, the conference discount pays for most of your membership fees. For example: an individual general membership of $100 can save you up to $80 on the conference, depending on registration category. If you qualify for a student/limited-income fee, then membership of $65 can save you an additional $40 on the conference.

Are You Registering a Companion as well?

If you have a companion who is attending the conference with you, they will need their own separate registration form. Many lodging rooms have two beds or a king at the same rate for a double as a single.

Make Your Lodging Reservation Directly With the Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta

The Sonesta Gwinnett Place is our conference site and the best and most convenient lodging option, just steps from all conference events. We have a limited block of 150 rooms reserved in order to ensure availability for as many of you as we could at the conference site – but they are limited so book early for best selection. Also do not go through third party resellers but please book directly with the hotel for our IASD room block, since we have to guarantee use of these rooms or pay for those we don’t. The rate is also available for up to three (3) days before and after the conference.

Please visit the Lodging page for details and booking instructions. You will need to book directly with the hotel with the phone number or link provided —do not use the main Sonesta Gwinnett website or third-party booking sites (you will not get the block rate an may get a “not available” error message).

NOTE: If you link to any of the above pages, please return to this Registration main page again to select this page and complete your conference registration.

1 Presenter discount deadline Approved presenters must register by (or the date in your acceptance letter) to remain on the program. Fees are non-refundable after that date. Refunds before that date have a $100 processing fee — waived if your proposal was not accepted.

Exhibiting Artists wishing to attend conference sessions receive this same discount until the art submission deadline — use the Exhibiting Artists registration form.
2 Student / limited income rates
  • Limited income: under $30,000 US annually
  • Student rate: submission must include a copy of your full-time student ID
3 Partial scholarship Scholarships are limited to two groups:
  • Students: Primarily full-time students at accredited colleges accompanying a presenting instructor, or where an instructor requests it as part of your education. Requires prior approval — email your full-time student ID and a written request from your instructor to office@asdreams.org.
  • BIPOC individuals: A limited number of partial scholarships may be available. Apply via the IASD Dreams & Ethnicity Portal.
4 On-site volunteers This heavily discounted fee is for pre-approved volunteers who work on site roughly 3.5 hours per day on average. All volunteers who have received approval MUST register and pay this fee by the deadline requested in their approval letter. Because this registration fee is non-refundable (barring extreme circumstances), please be certain of your ability to attend before you apply. Do NOT register in the volunteer category unless you have received an approval letter. Those on the waiting list who pay the Early Discount or Regular registration fee will be reimbursed the difference if they are later accepted as a volunteer. Volunteers who wish to lodge at the conference site should reserve lodging as early as possible with the Sonesta Gwinnett Hotel. (Note that lodging must be paid by the volunteer.)
5 Single day registration Includes all general receptions for that day. Lodging and meals are excluded. No discounts apply. The Sunday fee includes Saturday evening opening sessions.
Special rates for pre-approved registrants If you have been approved by email for a complimentary or special fee arrangement not listed above (Management Staff, Keynote, Featured Presenter, Press, or other) — select Special Rates for Pre-Approved Registrants during checkout and note your category in the Comments box.

Recordings

The ability to view all sessions that are recorded (which include most lectures, symposiums and panels) will be made available to those who registered for the full conference, as well as keynotes/invited, on-site volunteers and staff. Single Day, Scholarship or certain Special Approved $0 fee registrants, can receive the recordings for an additional $50. Recordings will also be made available to non-registrants or press after the conference for a fee of $200. Recordings will be available for viewing for up to 2 years after the conference.

Meals

Meals are on your own. Within the hotel is the Grapevine Restaurant serving daily breakfasts and lunches at the ArtBar which is a bar and lounge serving a specialized dinner menu.  At 9 am each morning, and once again late morning, coffee and tea service is provided by IASD in the foyer off the main ballroom.  Beverages are provided when there is an afternoon break.

Art Exhibitors

The 2026 IASD conference will include a Juried Dream Art Exhibition that invites local artists, as well as artists who attend the conference from around the world. Artists are encouraged to submit original artwork about, or inspired by, their nighttime dreams.  The Call to Artists planned to be posted 1 November 2026 which will have a 1 April  2027 deadline for submissions.

Fees: All submissions will require registration and payment, on the online Exhibiting Artists form below, at the time of art submission – either a) a non-refundable submission fee of $40 per artist (including Artists who have been approved as a volunteer special fee arrangement) or b) a discounted Presenter fee for Exhibiting Artists who wish to register to attend the full conference sessions and events.
