Here, you’ll find all the information you need to secure your spot at this year’s conference. From ticket options to accommodation details, we’ve got you covered.

• Discounts: Save on your registration fees by taking advantage of discounted rates for early registration, members, students and limited income, volunteers and scholarships – all listed below.
• Lodging at Rolduc: once you register for the conference use the discount code you will receive to book your lodging at Rolduc – do so early for best selections.

How to Register

• Read the instructions on this page for information and rates on all the features and options that the conference has to offer.
• Under “Register Here” at the bottom of the page select the registration link what suits you best. We have a variety of rates for presenters and arts exhibitors, general 5-day attendance, single day attendance, volunteers, and other special guests.   
• On the registration form, check the conference fee that best applies to you.
• Add your meal plan: Sharing and connecting is one of the most valued experiences at the conference. The venue can provide you with a buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with options for special dietary restrictions.
• Choose your extras: CE credit, Packaged Meals for a dream hike and Recordings (as applicable). Recordings are included in the fees for presenters, volunteers and full conference attendees).
• Complete Your Registration: once you have filled in the form, click “Proceed”. You’ll receive a confirmation email which will contain the discount Booking Code for lodging at Abbey Hotel Rolduc.
• Book your stay directly at the Abbey Hotel as soon after you get your booking code (information will be provided in your registration confirmation and the conference Lodging page).

Note: You may register online for the conference itself within 3 days of the opening, or at the door – with the exception of meals which have to be reserved prior to 22 May 2024.

CONFERENCE FEES 

Fee Payments: Our payment system will unfortunately only accept card charges in $ US, but it should accept most international charge cards (American Express, Visa, Master Card, Discover, JCB plus various international cards, including UnionPay and Alipay). The rates below are presented in $ US and Euros for comparative purposes, based on a 1.1 exchange rate at the time of the posting, so they are likely close estimates, but the actual charge conversion to Euros can vary slightly based on your card type and banking system.  If you cannot use your credit card, you can pay via Pay Pal.

Full Conference Fees

The full conference fee includes attendance and all presentations and recordings from Saturday, 8 June through the evening of Wednesday, 12 June 2024, as well as special events such as the Opening and Arts Receptions, the Art Exhibit, the PSI Dreaming contest and Costume Parade and Dream Ball. Scholarship Fees Include: all of the above except recordings, which can be purchased separately.  Excluded aretransportation, lodging, meals and other items listed below which can be purchased separately from the conference fees.

***Approved presenters must register before 15 March 2024 (or as specified in your acceptance letter) to remain on the program. Fees are non-refundable after that date. Refunds for registration before that date will be less a $100 processing fee (waived if your proposal was not accepted).   Student/Limited Income Rates * Limited Income applies to income under $30,000 US annually. * Student rates require your registration submission to be accompanied by a copy (scan) of your full-time student ID to be sent to office@asdreams.org, ** Restricted Student Partial Scholarships are limited and intended primarily for full-time students at accredited colleges or universities where you are accompanying a presenting instructor or where your instructor or advisor requests it as part of your education. These require approval prior to registering. Copy (scan) your full-time student I.D. plus a written (e-mail) request from your instructor/advisor, to the IASD office at office@asdreams.org, **BIPOC grant or scholarship – to apply go to the IASD Dreams & Ethnicity Portal.

Volunteer Fee

We warmly welcome those who wish to be a part of our team and contribute on site for up to 50% of the conference sessions in return for a heavily discounted fee of $200 (€ 182).  Apply to become a volunteer and once you are approved you would register by the due date on your approval letter in order to remain as a confirmed volunteer. Do Not register in the volunteer category until you have received an approval letter. Because this registration fee is non-refundable (barring extreme circumstances) please be fairly certain of your ability to attend before you apply.  Those who are not immediately approved will be placed on the waiting list.  If you need to pay and register at a regular rate before you are approved as a volunteer, we will reimburse the difference if you are later accepted as a volunteer.

Volunteer Fee: $200 (€ 182).

Single Day Fees

While we would love you to attend the full 5-day conference, single day registrants are welcome. If you register for the opening day Saturday, your single day fee includes Sunday as well.  Single day registration includes all sessions and receptions for that day. Housing and meals are to be paid for separately. No tiered discounts apply to single day registrations.

Special Approved Registration:

If you have been pre-approved for a special fee arrangement that is not specified above (Staff, Keynote, Featured Presenter, Media, BIPOC Grants and Scholarships, Other) select the Special Approved Registration form. Note for a chance to receive a BIPOC grant or scholarship, apply on IASD Dreams & Ethnicity Portal.  Media passes require a request to the IASD Marketing Manager through the IASD Central Office at office@asdreams.org. Such a request requires the individual to provide the rationale including the organization you are working for, specific assignment you are on, purpose of the article/interviews, willingness to share article/interviews with IASD prior to publication. Note that reporting on, recording, or filming any content is strictly NOT permitted in any workshops where dreams are shared. Special arrangements and release forms are required for any filming and interviews.

SAVE BY JOINING IASD AND REGISTERING AT MEMBER RATES!

IASD Members enjoy conference fees in the range of 10% to 15% lower than non-member fees. If you are not a member you might think about joining since the discount pays for most of your membership fee.  For example: an individual general membership of $100 can save you up to $80 on the conference depending on registration category; and if you qualify for a student/limited-income fee, then a membership of $65 can save you and additional $40 on the conference. RECORDINGS

Recordings (audio/video) will enable you to experience or re-experience all the sessions that are recorded (most all lectures, symposia and panels).  Recorded sessions will be available for viewing for up to a year after the conference. You can pre-reserve recording access either by registering for the full conference (for which recordings are included) or if you are a partial registrant by purchasing one with your registration or at the conference registration desk.

Registrants who pay for the full conference including Volunteers as well as approved Staff, and Keynotes or Invited presenters: recordings included – $0

Partial Registrants – Single Day, Scholarships and others not paying full conference fee and other special comp ’ed registrations – $40 (€ 36 )

MEALS

Breakfast

A “lavish” breakfast buffet for those lodging at Rolduc is included in your room rate.   For those not staying at Rolduc, breakfast can be purchased separately and directly from Rolduc for € 15.50. Instructions pending.

Lunch Buffet

To fully enjoy the gathering of like-minded dreamers, a tasty variety of foods, and make it to you next sessions on time, it is highly recommended for you to purchase lunch buffet tickets. Buffet selections are extensive and accommodate special diets – including meat, vegetarian/vegan and gluten free entrées on the buffet itself plus plated special dietary selections when pre-ordered. Also, the price is consistent with the area and there are no nearby restaurants, the closest being in Kerkrade, over a 1-mile (1.6km) walk from the Abbey.

Packaged Meal  for Monday Hike

Join us on Monday 10 June for an exciting 2-hour German/Dutch Frontier Hike planned during the free time and dinner break at around 18:00.  A packaged meal with drink can be pre-reserved for $17 (€ 15). It will contain 2 sandwiches (choice of meat, vegetarian/cheese or vegan/hummus), two rolls/small subs (in Dutch: belegde broodjes), fruit such as an apple or pear, fruit yoghurt, a boiled egg and a bottle of water.  There is likely no further special dietary options. Since that evening it is “dinner on your own” (no buffet) you may want to purchase this anyway if you just want a light snack or wish to picnic on the grounds during free time, or don’t otherwise want to make it into town.

Dinner Buffet

A dinner buffet is served on two or the conference evenings, Sunday 9 June and Tuesday 11 June, when the conference schedule is tight with evening keynotes. On the other evenings we have provided 2½ hour to 3-hour breaks for you to dine on your own in nearby Kerkrade.

Special Diet or Allergy?  Rolduc has stated that they will mark all of the dietary categories on the buffet. If you have a special dietary need or allergy beyond those listed, you can specify it in the comments box provided in the Dietary Selections item before you click the PROCEED button.  We respectfully ask that you only specify actual needs rather than preferences – please be courteous to our IASD volunteers as well as the Rolduc staff who have to manage the process.

CONTINUING EDUCATION (CE)

CE Credits for selected sessions are provided for those that register for them. IASD is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. IASD maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Receiving CE Credit requires that the attendees sign in and evaluate each session. This will be done all electronically so that sign-in, evaluations and certificate receipt is all done on your computer or smart phone or pad. Instructions will be provided to all CE applicants.

Processing Fee for CE Credits if desired:  $30 (€ 27)

ARTIST EXHIBITORS

The 2024 IASD conference will include a Juried Dream Art Exhibition that invites local artists, as well as artists who attend the conference from around the world, to participate. Artists are encouraged to submit original artwork about or inspired by their nighttime dreams.

To apply, look for a separate Call for Art Submissions accompanied by a separate Art Exhibit Submission form (to be announced and posted on the conference website) with a 15 March 2024 due date for submissions.  All Art Submissions (except for those artists who have paid and registered to attend the conference) will require a non-refundable entry fee of $40 (€ 36) per artist, payable on that separate online form at the time of submission.  For artists who register and pay the conference fee using the forms herein (full conference, single day or volunteer) the art entry fee is waived.  NOTE:. If you registered early for the conference and none of your art is accepted, and you notify us within 7 days of receiving a non-acceptance notice that you no longer wish to attend, you will receive a refund, less the art entry fee.

ARE YOU REGISTERING A COMPANION AS WELL?

If you have a companion or family member who is attending the conference sessions and events, they must also register for the conference on a separate registration form.  If your companion is  not attending the conference, we have provided the ability to add a second meal to your registration form for them (select ‘2’ in the drop-down box for that meal).  Also, when you make your lodging reservations with Abbey Hotel Rolduc, most lodging rooms have a rate for a double which provides 2 beds and 2 breakfasts (per day). 

COMMENTS AND SPECIAL REQUESTS

The registration form has a box for adding comments and special requests. Although IASD will do its best to meet special requests, it is not always practical or possible to do so. We will attempt to notify you of the status of your requests. Note that we are making efforts to provide special seating accommodation for those who have limited sight or hearing or need wheelchair access, so let us know if you have those needs in order that we can plan properly. If you have a specific question regarding facility access, you may contact the Abbey Hotel Rolduc.

LODGING

Make Your Lodging Reservations Directly with the Hotel. The conference center, Abbey Hotel Rolduc – is the best lodging choice for discounted rooms and for ease in getting to the conference events on time, but reserve early since our room block is limited. The block is 125 rooms (most of which can be reserved as singles or doubles) with additional rooms on a space-available basis. Most rooms are priced from € 63 to € 93 per night including breakfast (from economy with shared bath to those with a bath in room). The discounted block of rooms is only for conference registrants. Therefore when you register for the conference your registration confirmation email will contain a Booking Code and instructions which you would use to reserve a room at Abbey Hotel Rolduc.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds for conference related fees will be subject to a $100 processing fee. Due to date-dependent contractual and scheduling obligations, NO REFUNDS ARE OFFERED AFTER 15 March 2024 for Presenters or Volunteers (unless approved at a later date) nor after 15 May 2024 for ANY registrant. Since last-minute cancellations can include meals and other expenses already paid to Rolduc, please plan ahead and understand that it may be impossible to refund those costs.  All cancellations or refunds for room reservations made with Rolduc are subject to hotel policies and must be resolved directly with the Hotel.
